JBL PartyBox 520 – Portable Battery-Powered 400W Party Speaker

The JBL PartyBox 520 is a portable party speaker that combines 400W RMS of JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost, a dynamic light show and up to 15 hours of battery playtime. It's built for house parties, garden gatherings, rooftop events, karaoke nights and outdoor celebrations. A telescopic handle and wheels make it easy to move, and its IPX4 splashproof design lets you take it poolside. You can run it on its replaceable battery away from an outlet, or plug it into AC power.

400W of Powerful JBL Pro Sound

The PartyBox 520 delivers 400W RMS output through two 7.5" (208 mm) woofers and two 1" (25 mm) dome tweeters. The woofers produce deep, punchy bass, and the tweeters keep vocals and highs clear. Frequency response is 40 Hz to 20 kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB.

AI Sound Boost analyzes your music in real time to deliver maximum acoustic performance with less distortion. That keeps the sound powerful and clean even when you turn the volume up.

Up to 15 Hours of Playtime with a Replaceable Battery

The PartyBox 520 runs on a JBL Battery 600 (Li-ion, 99.02 Wh) for up to 15 hours of playtime. A 10-minute fast charge gives up to 2 extra hours, and a full charge takes about 3 hours. The battery is replaceable, so you can swap in a charged spare and keep the party going. Spare JBL Battery 600 packs are sold separately.

Dynamic Light Show

Glowing light patterns and strobe effects move with your music to set the mood for any event. You can choose from several light patterns on the top panel or customize the light show in the JBL PartyBox app.

Built for Karaoke and Live Performance

Auracast Multi-Speaker Connection

With Auracast, you can pair two PartyBox 520 speakers for stereo sound, or wirelessly connect multiple Auracast-enabled JBL speakers to fill a bigger space. You can also daisy-chain speakers with audio cables through the IN/OUT ports.

Bluetooth 5.4 and JBL PartyBox App

Stream music wirelessly over Bluetooth 5.4. The JBL PartyBox app lets you control your music, EQ and light show from your phone.

IPX4 Splashproof Design

With an IPX4 rating, the PartyBox 520 is protected against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for poolside and outdoor use. It is splashproof, not waterproof, and should not be submerged.

Easy to Move: Telescopic Handle and Wheels

Measuring 42 × 77 × 37 cm and weighing about 25.5 kg, the PartyBox 520 has an extendable telescopic handle and wheels for a smooth ride from room to room, or from your car to the party.
